Projects
Our Marble restoration process involves several key steps to restore your Marble floors to their original beauty:
Inspection and Assessment: We begin with a thorough inspection to identify problem areas and determine the appropriate treatment.
Deep Cleaning: Using specialised cleaners, we remove dirt, grime, and old sealants.
Repairs: Address cracks, chips, or other damage with suitable resin fillers.
Diamond Grinding: This initial step removes deep scratches, stains, and uneven surfaces using diamond abrasives. It prepares the marble for honing.
Diamond Honing: Using finer diamond abrasives, we smooth the marble surface and remove minor scratches, enhancing the stone's natural colour and pattern.
Diamond Polishing: This step uses even finer diamond abrasives to achieve a glossy finish, restoring the marble's natural shine and reflective quality.
Powder Polishing: We apply a specially formulated polishing powder to enhance the marble's shine and create a more durable, polished surface.
Crystallization Process: This chemical treatment creates a hard, glass-like surface on the marble, enhancing its durability and shine and helping to protect against future wear and tear.
Grout Cleaning and Sealing: We manually clean and seal the grout lines to prevent staining and maintain a clean, uniform appearance.
Marble is a luxurious and elegant stone, but it can face several common issues, including:
Staining: Marble's porous nature makes it susceptible to absorbing spills, leading to unsightly stains.
Etching: Acidic substances such as vinegar, citrus juices, and certain cleaners can cause etching, dulling the marble surface.
Scratches and Abrasions: Heavy foot traffic, grit, sand and sharp objects can scratch or abrade the marble, affecting its appearance.
Discolouration: Marble can develop discolouration over time due to dirt buildup and improper cleaning methods.
Cracks and Chips: Natural wear and tear, as well as accidents, can cause cracks and chips, compromising the stone's beauty and integrity.
Expertise: Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in marble care, ensuring first-class service.
Quality Products: We use only the best, environmentally friendly products that are safe for your marble and home.
Customer Satisfaction: We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring our clients are delighted with the results.

Marble is a metamorphic rock composed primarily of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Formed under intense heat and pressure, marble is known for its distinctive veining and wide range of colours.
Its unique and elegant appearance makes it a popular choice for flooring, countertops, and other architectural features. However, marble is also porous and requires proper care and maintenance to prevent damage and preserve its natural beauty.

How to properly maintain and clean marble floors, follow these steps:
Regular Dusting and Sweeping: Dust and sweep the floor daily to prevent dirt and grit from scratching the surface.
Use pH-Neutral Cleaners: Clean the floor with a pH-neutral cleaner, ideally a pH-neutral Stone Soap.
Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners as they can damage the marble.
Mop with a Damp Mop: Use a damp mop, not a wet one, to clean the floor. Excess water can seep into the marble and cause damage.
Seal the Surface: To protect the surface, apply a penetrating sealer specifically designed for limestone at the installation stage. Reapply the sealer as the manufacturer recommends, or top-up the existing seal with a natural pH-neutral Stone soap.
Avoid Synthetic Sealers: Do not use synthetic sealers or urethane products, as they can make the floor look plastic, trap moisture and damage the marble.
Use Doormats: Place doormats at entrances to reduce the amount of dirt and grit brought onto the floor."
